WHAT IS THE STANDING OVATION ART EXPERIENCE?
Ever wanted to make something weird, wonderful, emotional, hilarious, or jaw-dropping and put it right in the middle of a festival crowd?

The Standing Ovation Art Experience invites artists 18+ (younger artists welcome with a parent’s registration) to create life-sized, full-body mannequin sculptures that will live throughout 760 FEST on April 25, 2026.
​
Think of it as a giant, walk-through art gallery, except it’s outdoors, buzzing with people, cameras are flashing, and your art becomes part of the experience.

WHAT CAN YOU MAKE?
Almost anything. Seriously.
Your sculpture can be:

Surreal (melting faces, floating objects, dream logic)

Funny (dad jokes in 3D? we’re listening)
-
Heartfelt (nostalgia, love, loss, hope)
-
Mechanical or futuristic
-
Nature-inspired
-
Theatrical or costume-based
-
Abstract or symbolic
-
Interactive (sound, motion, lights, spinning parts)

Photo-bait (we love a good Instagram moment)
Use paint, fabric, texture, found objects, lighting, mirrors, sound, scent, props, movement, if it fits the guidelines and makes people stop and stare, it’s fair game.

WHAT EXACTLY AM I BUILDING?
You’ll create one (1) life-sized, human-scale sculpture using a mannequin or sculptural base.
​
Think:
Standing. Sitting. Reaching. Dancing. Floating (safely).
✔ Must be roughly human-sized
✔ Must have a stable base
✔ Must be safe and family-friendly
✔ Must have a name/title
✔ Concepts must be approved before you start building
